MFM Daily Devotional 8 August 2025 MESSAGE
This is a strange topic! Strange because many people, even Christians, do not often see the positive side of pain. Of a truth, it takes a spiritually discerning mind to get to this point. Pain is often seen as negative and assumed to be nothing but discomfort, emotional stress, sorrow and so on. Interestingly, pain comes alongside with the package of miracles and testimonies, oftentimes unseen. As humans, if only we can be patient with God, the beautiful side of pain would be manifested and we would bless God.
Imagine the pain of childbirth in women; the joy at the expectation of a newly born baby and an addition to the family is enough to make a woman endure the pain. If it were not for this kind of joyful expectation, no woman would desire the pain how much more endure it while it lasted. Surprisingly, in another few years, she would have forgotten the painful experience and would be ready to have another baby. This pain will come up again and the cycle continues. This is one of the beautiful sides of pain! This can only happen and be managed by the power of God. This is a mystery! The same thing happens when your pain is physical, mental, emotional or even spiritual. God is able to turn it to gain and make it beautiful at the end. And as you endure the pain under the management of the Holy Spirit, the beauty of it emerges.
What pain are you going through right now? Is it losses, abandonment, betrayal, physical, mental or emotional challenge? You can make gains out of it and at the end, your life becomes more beautiful than ever before. Pain helps to transform us and bring us to the reality of how weak and fragile we are. It takes courage to grow through pain. Today, God will help you if you would allow Him.

1. I hand over all my pains to Jesus, Lord Jesus, help me!
2. I enter into the therapy room of the Holy Spirit, in the name of Jesus.
3. Holy Spirit, soothe my pains and balm my heartaches, in the name of Jesus.

4. Wiper of tears, Lord Jesus wipe away my tears and give me unspeakable joy, in the name of Jesus.
5. O God, arise, turn my situation around like the one who is dreaming and give me the grace to praise You all my life, in the name of Jesus.
6. Joy that swallows pain, envelope my life, in the name of Jesus.
7. Peace that surpasses the understanding of man, possess my life and let me testify of God’s goodness, in the name of Jesus
