𝔽𝕀ℝ𝔼 𝕊ℂℝ𝕀ℙ𝕋𝕌ℝ𝔼: Psalm 24:3-6
3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?
4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.
MFM Daily Devotional 13 August 2025 – MESSAGE
Let us continue from where we stopped yesterday. The fact that God sees our hearts explains the reason some worship are not acceptable to God and why they are mere noises that return to men’s bosoms, unacceptable and unworthy. But when you are righteous in your heart and ways, you are able to lift up holy hands unto God in worship. In Psalm 24:3-6, our Fire Scripture today, the Psalmist asked some questions and immediately answered them by stating the conditions of those qualified to stand in worship before the Almighty God. “Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; Who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, And righteousness from the God of his salvation. This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob.”
A true worshipper must do everything possible to flee from sin and all unrighteousness. He must live and maintain a purged and sanctified life, manifesting a totally humble and contrite heart. He is someone who has a grateful heart, an attitude of gratitude and thanksgiving; always ready to thank the Lord, bless and praise Him in all situations. The Psalmist is one man who did not only show us how to worship, but he was an incurable worshipper of Jehovah God himself. This can be confirmed through the Psalms. the Psalmist proclaimed in Psalm 103:1-5: “Bless the LORD, O my soul: And all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; Who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; So that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”
These and much more are the benefits of those who are ready to worship God in Spirit and in truth. Will you be one of them? God is willing! Why not take a pause and be in the attitude of worship right away.
ℙℝ𝔸𝕐𝔼ℝ ℙ𝕆𝕀ℕ𝕋𝕊:
𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆
1. Holy Ghost fire, purge me inside out, in the name of Jesus.
2. O Lord, create in me a new heart and renew a right spirit within me today, in the name of Jesus.
3. O Lord, take me to Your threshing floor and trash out the dross in my life, in the name of Jesus.
𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆
4. Every besetting sin that is making me stink in the nostrils of the Almighty, be separated from my life, in the name of Jesus.
5. Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts and see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead in the way everlasting, in the name of Jesus.
6. Fill my cup, O Lord, and make me whole, in the name of Jesus.
7. The grace to worship You in spirit and in truth grant unto me, O Lord, in the name of Jesus.
