TOPIC: Dealing with Evil Foundation (1)
MEMORY VERSE: Psalm 11:3 – “If the foundation be destroyed, what can the righteous do?”
MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES: No man can grow beyond his foundation except by divine intervention.

24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

The foundation of every man is his root. It refers to his parentage and ancestry and the kind of platform they have prepared for him as a springboard to continue to live on. Today’s Fire Scripture compares the human life to a house. One house is built on the rock, the other is built on the sand. The texture of both soils is the fabric that determines the strength, capacity and durability of the foundation and how well it would go to support the building whenever there is a shaking. The building in this case is the human life.
The challenges of life are referred to as, “the rain, wind, flood”. The question is, “How solid is your foundation? On what foundation is the building of your life erected? Is it a solid or weak foundation? The weak foundation is the one without Christ, the evil foundation! The solid foundation is the one that is laid on the Rock, who is Jesus! Upon no other foundation should our life be laid if t must endure and overcome these challenges.
But one striking truth is that no man determines his or her foundation. We are not given the
opportunity to choose our ancestry or parentage; hence the possibility of an ungodly legacy of
evil foundation. Thank God for hope in Christ through whom we have been redeemed and
reconciled to God. With Him, there is hope fora better foundation! Only Jesus can rebuild that
foundation and make us joint-heirs of the Kingdom of God.
Looking inwards, is your foundation godly or ungodly? Are you ready fora change, so that you will not become easy prey to the devil? In case you are not born again, this is the time to make the great decision for Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Saviour. The Bible asks, “Can we continue in sin and say grace should abound?” Apostle Paul answered, “God forbid!” This simply indicates that you cannot continue to live on an evil foundation. It is risky physically and dangerous spiritually!
Make an instant decision. Invite Jesus into your life. He wi re-establish your life on a godly
foundation, and you will experience divine ease in achieving your life purpose and be fulfilled, in
Jesus’ name.

MORNING
1. O God, arise and deliver me from foundational pollution, in the name of Jesus.
2. Inherited evil luggage, I am not your candidate, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
3. O God, arise and heal me of every foundational injury by the power in the blood of Jesus, in
the name of Jesus.
EVENING
4. My foundation, receive fire, in the name of Jesus.
5. I chase out every evil presence in my foundation by the power of God, in the name of
Jesus.
6. Any evil tree present in my foundation, be rooted out by fire, in the name of Jesus.
7. O God, arise and rebuild my life on a solid foundation, in the name of Jesus.
