44 On the seventh time, he reported, “There’s a cloud as small as a man’s hand coming up from the sea.”
Then Elijah said, “Go and tell Ahab, ‘Get your chariot ready and go down so the rain doesn’t stop you.’”
45 In a little while, the sky grew dark with clouds and wind, and there was a downpour. So Ahab got in his chariot and went to Jezreel. 46 The power of the Lord was on Elijah, and he tucked his mantle under his belt and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.
MFM Daily Devotional 2nd October 2025 MESSAGE:
To fast forward is to move forward very fast, to move ahead of others and with the reward of early satisfaction in life. It is when one has achieved in June what one is supposed to achieve in December, that one would be described as having gotten there before others. For this to happen, one needs the spiritual chariot of Elijah, and to ride on the chariot of Elijah, one needs the anointing for forward movement.
In Deuteronomy 1:6-8, God told the children of Israel that they had dwelled long enough in the mountain (40 years for a journey of 40 days). They were stagnated and God wanted them to keep on moving. But they could not move forward until God commanded them to move.
So, today, are you stagnated? Are you limited to one spot and are finding it difficult to move forward? All you need is to begin to spiritually ride on the chariot of the God of fire.
God hates stagnancy and Jesus had to curse the fig tree. And in the Old Testament, God always asked for perfectly growing animals for sacrifices. So, the Lord expects us, who are made in His own image, to grow early in order to rejoice in Him.
Beloved, you need the anointing. You need the spiritual chariot of fire after the order of prophet Elijah to take you to your glorious destiny ahead of your contemporaries, because you serve the God of fire. You need to walk into your bright future. You need to enter that wonderful financial status, that fruitful marital status, that lucrative career, that good success, that divine promotion, that motherhood and fatherhood status, that divine health status, that plum job, and above all that divine health status.
Ensure you are born again and be ready to serve God as Elijah did. Then pray correct prayers and begin to ride on the spiritual chariots of fire. When your life is consecrated and dedicated to God in quality service and absolute commitment to building the Kingdom of God, you will ride on the chariot of fire.
I pray that the Almighty God will accord you that honour, in Jesus’ Name.
PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
1. I connect myself to the God of Elijah, after the order of Elisha and I move forward by fire, in the Name of Jesus.
2. Any wicked power assigned to break my ladder of advancement, die, in the Name of Jesus.
3. Every blockage in my journey of greatness and advancement, be dismantled by fire, in the Name of Jesus.
EVENING
4. Anything in my life, acquired or inherited to prevent my rejoicing, die, in the Name of Jesus.
5. Any man or woman, assigned to delay my progress directly or indirectly, be put to shame, in the Name of Jesus.
6. I declare that I am going higher today by the power in the blood of Jesus, in the Name of Jesus.
7. My Father, let my future be better and be more glorious than my past, in the Name of Jesus.
