TOPIC: Bringing In The Serpent

Outline: Today’s lesson centres on a deep mystery. The devil is aware of the power of spiritual principles. He knows that the spiritual controls the physical. Therefore, he carries out in the spiritual realm, actions that are capable of affecting sons and daughters of men in the physical realm. The devil knows that wherever there is an evil ladder, it will be followed by heavy activities.
Therefore, the devil has specialised in using evil ladders against sons and daughter of men. You must declare like Jesus is showing us that the devil can be rendered powerless and impotent. You must ensure that there is no single ladder that he can use to walk up to you to carry out his wicked activities.
To understand why the devil makes use of terrible ladders against humanity, we need to look at Biblical principles once again. Here, we have a lot of lessons to learn. To dig a pit is to fall into it. When anyone digs a pit or allows any evil ladder, a fall into the ditch of darkness is inevitable. You cannot dig a pit and begin to claim that you are infallible. Anyone who digs a pit will definitely fall into such a pit. If is also clear that when people break the edge of protection the serpent will easily have access to come and bite.
We see in this passage that people get what they allow. If you refuse to dig a pit, you are saving yourself from any wicked embarrassing fall. When you keep the edge of protection intact there is no serpent anywhere that can bite you. Of course, we all know that the poison of the serpent is extremely terrible. You must avoid any means of cooperating with the kingdom of darkness. Each opportunity given to agents of the devil is generally made use of maximally.
You must not be caught digging a pit. You must not break any edge of protection. The serpent of this world lie everywhere waiting for careless people to bite. But such serpent will never bite anyone if the edge of protection is not broken.
