1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth* also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

MFM Daily Devotional 28 February 2025 MESSAGE
Heaven is the abode of the Almighty God and the eternal home of believers after their time in this world. Heaven is a holy place; very beautiful and full of divine aura. This heaven we are talking about is going to be the eternal reward for those who have lived a life pleasing to God on this earth; the eternal resting place of those who accepted Jesus Christ and lived a life worthy of their profession as Christians.
Heaven is a place of absolute purity that cannot accommodate even a little spot of impurity. No sinner can ever make it to heaven. The Bible says, “For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie” (Rev. 22:15).
Painfully, in the kingdom of God today, there are many Christians who are living as if there is no heaven. It is as if they are completely oblivious of that glorious home. In fact, a lot of believers are disqualifying themselves from heaven by their character, attitudes, habits and pursuits in this world. How have you been living your life as a Christian? Do you see yourself as a candidate of heaven?
Are your actions and utterances in line with the expectations for candidates of heaven? Hope you are not making yourself unworthy to enter that glorious home. Anyone who misses heaven will end up in hell fire where there shall be everlasting weeping, regrets, and gnashing of teeth.
Candidates of heaven are believers who are daily living with eternity in view. They live every moment as if it would be their last. They are conscious of the fact that the rapture can happen at any time. Therefore, they pursue a life of absolute holiness. They hate sin with perfect hatred.
They bear the image of the life of Jesus upon their hearts. They fear God and are submissive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. They are obedient students of the Bible. They are filled with the kingdom zeal and are committed to advancing the kingdom of Jesus on earth. Are you a candidate of heaven?

MORNING
1. Every stronghold of sin in my life, die by fire, in the name of Jesus.
2. Arrow of iniquity lodging in my soul, come out by fire, in the name of Jesus.
3. Garment of uncleanness upon my life, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
4. Blood of Jesus, purify my heart, in the name of Jesus.
5. Holy Spirit of the living God, make my heart Your abode, in the name of Jesus.
6. O Lord, let Your hand establish me in the way of righteousness, in the name of Jesus.
7. I shall not miss heaven, in the name of Jesus.
