TOPIC:These Sign Shall Follow Believers (1)

God’s word, as can be seen and understood in the Holy Scriptures, clearly teaches that Christ wants the lives and ministries of His followers to be characterised by the supernatural, doing great wonders as He (Jesus) did. Just like Jesus, those who spread the message of forgiveness and eternal life through their faith in Christ should also perform miracles in His name. This will be a proof that the kingdom of God is active and very much available here on earth.
In Matthew 10:1, the Bible says, “And when he had called unto Him His twelve disciples, He gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.” Jesus wants His followers to spiritually stand against the forces of evil by driving out evil spirits (i.e., commanding them to release the control of individuals whose bodies they have taken over and inhabited) and by healing the sick who may also be troubled and discouraged by satan. Dearly beloved, if you are born again, these signs must follow you to replicate what Jesus came to do on earth. This demonstration of authority in the spiritual realm is one way that the power and purposes of God’s kingdom remain active on earth. Ordinarily, we do not possess this authority we are talking about in ourselves, but only through the power and authority of Christ.
It is of paramount importance therefore, that we live our lives in a way that is worthy of Christ; otherwise, we will lack the spiritual power to face the direct attacks of supernatural powers of evil and conquer them. God wants us to live a life of holiness, within and without; not only is the devil and his cohorts always afraid of such a life, but above all, you will be able to do exploit for God. Are you ready? God is ever ready, if you are.

1. Holy Ghost fire, separate me from inherited darkness, in the name of Jesus.
2. My Father,let me be in the right place at the right time, in the name of Jesus.
3. Power that will make me heaven’s favorite fall upon me, in the name of Jesus..

4. Holy Ghost, sanitise my mouth, in the name of Jesus.
5. Father, let the heavens open, and let the glory of God fall upon me, in the name of Jesus.
6. O Lord, let not Your light turn to darkness in my life, in the name of Jesus
7. O God, arise and be the strength in my weakness, in the name of Jesus.
