Jesus did not die for us to give us a religion, but to open the way for each of us to have and enjoy an intimate relationship with God through Him. Religious people tend to focus on following rules and laws, but those seeking a relationship with God focus on Him.

Each of us can be as close to God as we want to be, it all depends on how much time we are willing to put into developing our relationship with Him.
Form a habit of spending regular quiet time with God, studying His Word, and talking with Him. If you put Him first, He will help you be obedient to His will. Don’t make the mistake of thinking that you don’t have time to spend with God, because it is the single most important thing that you can do.
Prayer of the Day: Lord, I know I need to prioritize my time with You. Please continue to draw me closer to You and into a deeper relationship with You, amen.
