John Hagee Devotional 1st April 2025, Tuesday Message
Today’s Scripture
And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS
Revelation 19:16
“Jesus is coming again! His return is imminent!” Those phrases have resounded throughout my life – from childhood through adulthood. Over and over, they rang out as an alarm and as a promise. As we look at the world around us, they take on greater urgency. As Bible prophecy is fulfilled in daily headlines, with confidence I say, “Jesus is coming soon!”
He Who is called Faithful and True, the King of kings and Lord of lords will split the eastern sky and return for His faithful bride, for a Church that is without spot or wrinkle. This time, He will not visit us as a lowly babe in a humble manger or as a suffering Savior, a Lamb led to slaughter.
The One Who is faithful to redeem you is coming in power and great glory. The One who is faithful to provide for your every need is coming to reign from His throne for a thousand generations. The One Who is faithful to heal you is returning with healing in His wings to restore the nations.
The Fairest of Ten Thousand will shine like the noonday sun. The Bread of Life will restore the broken. The Lamb of God will bring peace. The Lion of the Tribe of Judah will rule from the city of Jerusalem. Out of His mouth will come a two-edged sword with which He will destroy the enemies of Israel. He will cast the antichrist and the serpent of old into the lake of fire. He will set his foot on the temple mount, split the eastern gate, establish His throne, and of His kingdom, there will be no end!
Most assuredly, Jesus is coming! When He returns, will you be found waiting and watching? Will you be found alert and about the Father’s business? Will you be found a faithful follower? Those who are will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and we will be with Him forever. “Look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near” (Luke 21:28, NKJV).
Blessing
Dear heavenly Father, we rejoice in the promise of Your soon return! With great anticipation, we look forward to the day that You come to catch us up and carry us home. In the meantime, let us be busy in the harvest, winning souls and persuading people to taste and see that You are good. May You find us faithful and watchful. In the name of our Redeemer, Jesus…amen.
