For two millennia, we have been living in the Last Days, waiting and watching for Jesus Christ to return. Time is ticking. Over two thousand years ago, the prophetic clock moved into the delivery room.

The young couple who discovers that they are expecting a baby are not certain of the exact moment that they will meet their precious newborn. They understand that they have nine months to prepare for the birth. They visit the doctor, enjoy baby showers, choose a name, and prepare a nursery. They celebrate the signs of impending arrival. At the appointed time, they welcome their long-awaited child.
Many around us choose to ignore the signs of Jesus’ impending arrival. They cling to the truth that no one knows the day or the hour of His coming. With every hour that passes, though, we draw closer and closer to that moment when the trumpet of God shall sound, the dead in Christ shall rise, and we who are alive and remain will be caught up to meet Him in the air. Hallelujah!
Do not get distracted. He has delayed only because of His great desire for all to know Him. Pay attention and prepare for His impending arrival. God has unveiled a mystery. Everything is in place for our long-awaited King’s return.
