Joel Osteen Daily Devotional 30 July 2026 TOPIC: Yet Faith
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crops fails…yet will I rejoice in the LORD! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation.
Habakkuk 3:17–18, NLT
TODAY’S WORD
The prophet Habakkuk predicted the fall of Judah to the ruthless Babylonians, a time of devastation and captivity. In the midst of his discouragement and complaints, he went on to say, “Even when we’ve lost it all, I will rejoice in the Lord and be joyful in the God of my salvation.” He was saying, “All these negative things will happen, but I am not giving away my joy. In this trouble, I’m going to be joyful, for I know salvation is coming.” Salvation means “deliverance, breakthrough, abundance, healing.” He was expecting God’s goodness. That joy is what gave him the strength to stand strong and come through the difficulties.
When the enemy brings trouble, he expects you to fall apart, complain, blame people, and give up on your dreams. If you’re going to reach your potential, you have to have “yet faith.” “Even though I’ve had this setback, this person did me wrong, this didn’t work out, yet will I rejoice in the God of my salvation.” Keep your joy. If you lost it, get it back. With joy, the enemy can’t defeat you.
Prayer For Today
“Father, thank You that I can rejoice in You, knowing that You are the God of my salvation and that victory is on the way. No matter what my circumstances look like, I know You are greater than my circumstances. I declare that I will yet praise You and keep rejoicing. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
