Joel Osteen Daily Devotional 26 July 2026 (Sunday) Message. Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen.
Joel Osteen Daily Devotional 26 July 2026 TOPIC: “This Day”
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
Then the LORD said to Joshua, “This day I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you.”
Joshua 5:9, NKJV
TODAY’S WORD
After Joshua led the new generation of Israelites into the Promised Land, the Scripture says that on that day God rolled away the reproach, the shame, and the guilt that the previous generation had carried from Egypt and the disobedience that had kept them in the wilderness for forty years. He rolled away the defeated, slave mindset, the can’t-do-it mentality, the complaining negativity they had passed down to their children. They had to go into the Promised Land free from all that, as victors and victims no longer.
You may have struggled for a long time with generational dysfunctions, weaknesses, and hardships that were passed down to you, but God is removing the reproach. He’s a God who frees you from the bondages of the past. Generational breakthroughs are coming in your health, your finances, your dreams. God is saying, “I’m canceling the negative baggage, and I’m releasing you into blessing, into freedom, into wholeness, joy, abundance. There’s about to be a shift. What used to hinder you is not going to hinder you anymore.” Get ready. “This day” is your day.
PRAYER FOR TODAY
“Father, thank You for the freedom from any sense of shame about what’s been passed down to me. Thank You that You are going to make my life so blessed and rewarding that I won’t even remember the shame or the reproach. I declare that I am ready for You to make ‘This day’ my day. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
