Joel Osteen Devotional 6th November 2022, Today’s Word with Joel & Victoria Osteen
Joel Osteen Daily Devotional November 6th, 2022 Message
TOPIC: Focus on the Greater
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
2 Corinthians 4:17, NKJV – For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.
TODAY’S WORD
The apostle Paul says that when you’re in tough times, you need to remember the trouble is temporary; the glory is permanent. Greater is coming. Don’t stay focused on the suffering; stay focused on the glory that’s coming. It’s leading you to greater favor, greater anointing, greater victories.
But here’s the key: To see the greater, you have to go through the suffering. There are levels you can only reach by going through tough times. Don’t get stuck in the suffering. Don’t get bitter because somebody walked out on you. Don’t settle in the depression, thinking that’s your lot in life. Don’t let that setback in your finances convince you that you’ll always struggle. Keep an attitude of faith and go through it. Keep believing when every thought is telling you it’s never going to change. Keep declaring God’s promises when it seems like it’s not doing any good. That difficulty is not there to defeat you, it’s there to promote you. You’re not just going to come out, you’re going to come out better.
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father, thank You that the difficulties I face are temporary and are working in me a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. Thank You that Your plans for me are for good, and greater is coming. I believe I’m going to make it through and come out better. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
