TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
They arrested the apostles and put them in the public jail. But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the doors of the jail and brought them out. “Go, stand in the temple courts,” he said, “and tell the people all about this new life.” – Acts 5:18–20, NIV
TODAY’S WORD
The religious authorities in Jerusalem thought they could stop the miracles and the great crowds of people who were coming to faith by arresting the apostles and putting them in prison. But God sent an angel to open the securely locked doors, and the apostles continued to deliver the good news despite the opposition.

It may look as though a door has been locked on your health, your dream, your career, your education, or a relationship. That door may have been closed a long time. Every circumstance says, “It’s too late. It’s never going to open.” Just smile and say, “That door is not a problem for God. He can make a way where I don’t see a way.
Closed doors can’t stop what He wants to do for me and through me.” You need to get ready. You’re about to see God show out in your life. He’s going to make things happen that you could never make happen. One touch of His favor, one good break, one right person, one contract, one idea, and you’ll be thrust to a new level.
PRAYER FOR TODAY
“Father, thank You that You’re not limited by doors that have been locked for a long time. Thank You that other people and circumstances cannot keep me from what You have ordained for me. I believe that You are opening the right doors, and that You will take me where I’ve never been. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
