Joel Osteen Daily Devotional (February 20, 2025) Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen, Thursday Message
Joel Osteen Daily Devotional (February 20, 2025) TOPIC: Granted Favor
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
“You have granted me life and favor, and Your care has preserved my spirit.”
Job 10:12, NKJV
TODAY’S WORD
The Old Testament character Job went through a difficult season. Everything was going great when the bottom dropped out. He suddenly lost his children, his business, and his body was covered with painful boils. His friends told him it must be because he had sinned.

What’s interesting is that Job honored God and lived a life of excellence. Job had good reasons to be negative and bitter, but in the midst of the difficulty, he was saying, “God, You have given me favor in the past, and I know favor is coming.” He didn’t make a judgment based on one season, but he kept declaring God’s favor. When he passed the test, he came out with greater possessions, health, and joy.
If you are in the middle of a difficulty, do as Job did. Don’t talk about how big your problem is, talk about how big your God is. Dare to declare His favor. Dare to declare, “I am blessed. I am healthy. I am strong. I am more than a conqueror.” Prophesy your future. Believe that you are coming out better.
PRAYER FOR TODAY
“Father, thank You that no matter what I go through, You are my redeemer and my vindicator. Thank You that You grant me life and favor and can bring me out of difficulties better off than I was before they showed up. I believe that You are in control in the tough times. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
