Joel Osteen Daily Devotional 8 May 2026: Darkness Turned to Light
Joel Osteen Daily Devotional 8 May 2026 (Friday) Message. Today’s Word With Joel & Victoria Osteen.

Joel Osteen Daily Devotional 8 May 2026 TOPIC: Darkness Turned to Light

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
You have turned on my light! The Lord my God has made my darkness turn to light.
Psalm 18:28, TLB

TODAY’S WORD
It may seem dark in your life right now. It might be from an illness, a setback in your finances or business, or a broken relationship. But don’t let the dark fool you. The enemy means for it to stop you, but God will overrule. Instead of being discouraged, have a new perspective. That darkness is not going to last. The dark means light is coming. Now do your part and keep praising God in the dark. Keep serving and being good to other people in the dark. Keep thanking Him that things are changing in your favor.

Don’t be moved by what you see. Things may not look any different yet, but light is about to break forth on the horizon. God has never once not made good on His promises. It may not happen on your timetable or in the way you thought, but God will light your darkness. Get ready for favor and breakthroughs. Suddenly you’re going to come into opportunity, healing, abundance, and the right people will show up. It’s going to be bigger, more rewarding, more fulfilling than you’ve ever imagined.

PRAYER FOR TODAY
“Father, thank You that You have called me to walk by faith, believing that Your power is working in the dark. Thank You that when nothing is changing and I don’t understand it, I have Your promise of light breaking through. I believe that though it may look like night now, Your light will drive back the darkness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
