Joel Osteen Daily Devotional 6th July 2025 TOPIC: Tap into His Power
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong.
Isaiah 54:17, AMPC
TODAY’S WORD
It’s easy to let weak thoughts, defeating thoughts, rule your thinking. “It’s too much. I don’t have the connections. I’ll never get promoted.” Have a new perspective. “This problem may be big, but I am well able. I am strong in the Lord. I can do all things through Christ. Though I am surrounded by trouble, I will not fear, for the Lord is the strength of my life.” If you’re going to tap into God’s power, you have to think power thoughts.
You could be worried because inflation is high, but instead you say, “God, You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord my provider. You say that even in famine I will have more than enough.” The medical report may not look good, but you say, “God, You say You will restore health to me, that with long life You will satisfy me.” Your child may be off course, but you say, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. My children will be mighty in the land.” Learn to think power thoughts. That’s how you activate the power.
PRAYER FOR TODAY
“Father, thank You that no weapon formed against me shall prosper because You are the guardian of my soul. Thank You that I can set my mind for victory today and not be afraid of what frightens and worries other people. I declare that I will tap into Your power as the source of my strength. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
