TODAY’S SCRIPTURE
Mephibosheth fell to the ground before the king. “Should the king show kindness to a dead dog like me?” he exclaimed.

TODAY’S WORD
Mephibosheth was born into royalty but had been crippled in an accident and ended up living in poverty for many years. He had gone around living inferior, feeling less-than, for so long that it had become normal to him. He let that recording play so long that he accepted it and developed a dead-dog mentality. Mephibosheth believed that he didn’t deserve to be blessed, that he wasn’t attractive, that he wasn’t talented, that he didn’t have a good personality. Fortunately for him, King David stepped in and restored him to his place as royalty.
Sometimes living worried or living guilty has become normal to us. We’ve believed the lie that we’ve made too many mistakes and now our mind is cluttered with condemnation telling us that we’ll never be good enough. Don’t let that poison stay there. You need to say, “There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Father, thank You that I am forgiven and redeemed. The past is over and I am free. This is a new day.”
PRAYER FOR TODAY
“Father, thank You for being my Father and adopting me into Your royal family. Help me to quit believing the lies that say I am unworthy of Your blessings. I believe and declare that I am a child of the Most High God and I am free from condemnation. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
