TOPIC: GOD’S BATTLE PLAN FOR VICTORY
Judges 7:7 (NIV)
The LORD said to Gideon, “With the three hundred men that lapped I will save you and give the Midianites into your hands. Let all the others go home.”
Theologians estimate that Israel faced an enemy force of 120,000 men under Gideon’s command, while Israel’s own army was only 32,000 strong. Israel was outnumbered nearly 4 to 1. Even at that, God instructed Gideon to reduce his troops to a mere 300 men. In the natural, this made no sense, but God’s ways don’t make sense—they make faith.
Gideon reduced His men as instructed by God so that when the battle was won, Israel would recognize that it was God, not their tiny army, that delivered them. Sometimes, God will remove people from around you so that when your time of manifestation explodes, only He will get the glory. In this Year of the Chainbreaker, your testimony will be to God’s glory. Just trust Him.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am a soldier in the Lord’s army, and I fully trust my Commander. I will not give space to the enemy’s manipulations. My God is a God of war, and He will come through for me! Amen.
