Delilah did not tempt Samson with her body, but with her words. Her story is not only a story of an evil seduction and the lusts of the flesh being the downfall of man, but also a testament to the importance of who you choose to surround yourself with and what they say! Samson held serious God given power, yet due to one person he brought close to himself, he was thrown off course entirely.
Several instances in the Bible show how powerful words of deception or evil can be utilised as a weapon against you, so much so that the devil deceived the angels in Heaven with his words alone – no action! Your destiny can be torn asunder simply by the words you allow yourself to hear. Choose to remove all forms of distraction that can been detrimental to what God has called you to be. Break every chain of distraction in this year of the chain breaker, you have the power, USE IT!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
God lives in me, I can never fail. No words of the enemy can throw me off course. Every word that chained me to the devil and his cohorts is broken now in Jesus’ Name! Amen.
