TOPIC: Pleasing God
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Mark 11:23-24 (KJV) For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
GoodNews Daily Devotional 24th August 2022 MESSAGE
God’s greatest pleasure is in seeing your desires fulfilled. In fact, He goes over and beyond your expectations. That is why the Bible says that He does exceeding, abundantly above all that you could possibly ask or think. Even the things that you desire deep in your heart that you have not expressed in words, He knows it.
When you understand this, your prayer life becomes exciting! You begin to pray with confidence, knowing that it is your Father’s pleasure to give you every good thing. Knowing the will of God takes the guesswork out of answered prayer. And His will is His word. As long as it is in His word and beneficial to you, it is yours. So, you never need to wonder if your prayer will be answered.
We do not pray to get anything; we pray because we have already gotten everything. We do not confess to getting anything. We declare and affirm that which we have already received in Christ. Let this truth set your prayer life on fire. Approach the throne of God with all confidence that the things you desire have been granted!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I receive good news! My loved ones are saved. Finances are increasing. Sickness is checking out. My life is changing now! I decree and declare now by the authority of the Spirit that everything I desire is done!
