GoodNews Daily Devotional 2 February 2022 MESSAGE
God gets no pleasure from seeing you in pain, struggling, or suffering in any way. And it is not His will for you to live a life of weariness and failure. That would not be a reflection of who He created you to be. His desire is for you to experience wonders without number! Remember that God created you to be like Him, and our verse for today lets us know that He does not get weary or faint. That means, His desire for you is that you also will not get weary or faint. But how is this possible?
The Bible tells us in Luke 18, verse 1, that we should pray so that we will not faint. This is the method and the conduit that God has given you so you can look like Him.
In prayer, you are positioning your spirit to be like God, who does not faint. Prayer is the technology God has given you to live a life free of failure. And so the use of this technology will not become a burden, He even gives you the desire and the “do-ability” to pray. That’s why there are times you just feel like praying. Go with that feeling. It’s your buffer against burnout. Whenever you feel His gentle urging to pray, make use of this wonderful technology, knowing that when you pray, you will not faint.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
Prayer is my priority and my passion. My mouth is set apart for divine utterances. As I pray, I am being refreshed, replenished, and strengthened in might in the Name of Jesus!
