It’s no secret that in the animal kingdom the Lion sits at the top of the hierarchy as the King of the Jungle. But did you know that a lion spends the majority of its day sleeping? Sixteen to twenty hours of its day is spent in a place of rest, garnering strength for the hunt at night! In the verse above we see the Lord Jesus dismiss the disciples to pray alone; the significance of this particular prayer is shown in the events that followed. After His time in seclusion, He went on to perform one of the most widely recognised miracles in theological study: the Lord Jesus walked on water!
As a Christian it is essential that you adopt a lion complex, understanding the importance of taking time out to recharge in prayer. Just as the lion gathers strength in its rest, you can gather strength and reshape your life through prayer. If you could only believe in this spiritual reality, the results that follow will be powerful enough to shake the very foundations of what you once thought was impossible!
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
As I pray in the Holy Ghost today, I am recharging myself for every task ahead. I defy every natural law bent on not allowing me to prosper in Jesus Name!
