TOPIC: Soar As An Eagle
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 40:31 (KJV) But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint.

It’s fascinating that this scripture is com- paring the knowledge of God you have as a form of strength that makes the eagles to mount up. The eagle has several characteristics which include, it will never surrender to its enemy, it will always fight to the end regardless of the size of the enemy.
Why is the scripture comparing the believer to that of an eagle? Simply because of the endurance and tenacity that is the genetic makeup of an eagle, which should be the same as a Spirit-filled believer. These strong traits of an eagle should make the believer understand that there is something special about you. You cannot be easily moved when situations raise their ugly heads against you.
Like an eagle, regardless of the size, shape or form, your tenacity to hold on and endure till victory must be the only goal with no alternatives. Many Christians give up very soon too easily and make compromises without paying keen attention to the character and nature of Christ. The moment a storm comes their way, they will start complaining and thinking the whole universe has conspired against them.
