GoodNews Daily Devotional 12th September 2022 MESSAGE
Paul the Apostle wrote one-third of the Bible and for him to make the bold statement that the Church in Corinth should follow him as he follows Christ; will sound different to other people, especially when bringing this subject to people in the church who think they know more and better. When I say my spiritual father, Pastor Dr. Chris Oyakhilome is my star, most people out there will have their own interpretation.
For sure I imitate Pastor Chris as he opens scriptures to me with higher revelation. When Pastor Chris prayed for me with a simple prayer – ‘That the revelation of the word should increase in you, from that moment onwards, words from the scriptures came out to me alive and demanded to be spoken.
My spiritual father Pastor Chris is zealous about Jesus and the word of God, to say the least, his church can count congregations around the globe in billions, known to almost every household on the planet, how will you not imitate such a phenomenon! I wonder who are you imitating as an example as they follow Christ? Someone who can hold you accountable and speak in your life as a father speaks to a son? The Bible is replete with father-son relationships like Paul to Timothy, Elijah to Elisha, and these men increase because of those over them in the Lord.
PROPHETIC DECLARATION
My eyes are fixed on the things above. I am not swayed by detractors and naysayers. My life is a masterpiece, fearfully and wonderfully made, connected to my connectors to collect my collections. Hallelujah!
