🙏🏾 Prayer for Today
Heavenly Father,
Today, I come before You with a heart that desires clarity, alignment, and eternal purpose. Your Word in Mark 8:36 reminds me that worldly gain is meaningless if my soul is lost in the process. Lord, strip away every desire in me that competes with Your will. I refuse to chase after success, status, or possessions at the cost of my relationship with You.
Let my pursuits be guided by eternity. Help me to discern what truly matters—Your presence, Your truth, and my obedience to You. Deliver me from distractions and deceitful ambitions. Anchor me in the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom.
Teach me to live with intentionality, to walk the narrow path that leads to life, and to invest in treasures that neither moth nor rust can destroy. Father, if anything I am building does not glorify You, let it crumble. Let my soul prosper even when all else fades.
Today, I choose You over everything. Let my life reflect a soul that is saved, surrendered, and sanctified for Your glory. In Jesus’ mighty name, I pray.
