BIBLE VERSE FOR TODAY: “At this, some of His disciples said to one another, ‘What does He mean by saying, “In a little while you will see Me no more, and then after a little while you will see Me”?’” – John 16:17
There are moments in life when God’s ways seem difficult to understand. We pray, wait, and try to make sense of what He is doing, yet confusion remains. Like the disciples in John 16:17, we sometimes find ourselves asking, “What does this mean?”
The disciples could not fully understand Jesus’ words about His death, resurrection, and departure. What He said sounded confusing and uncertain to them. Yet even in their confusion, Jesus was still leading them toward something greater than they could see.
This reminds us that confusion is not the end of faith.
There will be seasons when God’s plan does not immediately make sense. Delays may confuse you. Unexpected changes may leave you questioning. Closed doors and difficult circumstances may seem unclear.
But God is still working.
The disciples later realized that what felt confusing at first was actually part of God’s perfect plan. What looked painful and uncertain eventually led to victory, joy, and greater understanding.
In the same way, there are things in your life that may not make sense today but will become clearer in time.
Faith means trusting God even before understanding arrives.
You do not have to know every detail to trust the One who holds your future. God sees the full picture while we only see a small part of the journey.
So today, do not let confusion pull you away from God. Bring your questions honestly before Him, but continue to trust His heart.
Because even when you do not understand His ways, His plans are still good.
Let’s Pray:
Lord God, there are moments when I do not fully understand what You are doing in my life. Sometimes I feel confused, uncertain, and overwhelmed by unanswered questions.
Help me to trust You even when I cannot see the full picture. Strengthen my faith in seasons where understanding feels distant.
Lord, remind me that Your plans are always good and that You are working behind the scenes for my growth and purpose. Give me peace while I wait for clarity.
Teach me to walk by faith and not by sight. Help me to remain close to You even in moments of uncertainty.
Thank You because Your wisdom is perfect, and Your timing is always right.
