BIBLE VERSE FOR TODAY: “Lift up your eyes to the heavens, then look to the earth beneath; for the heavens will vanish like smoke, and the earth will wear out like a garment and its inhabitants will die in like manner; but My salvation will be forever, and My righteousness will not wane.” – Isaiah 51:6

It is easy to place our confidence in the things we can see—our surroundings, our achievements, and the stability of the world around us. Yet, Isaiah 51:6 reminds us of a sobering truth: everything in this world is temporary.

The heavens, the earth, and all that we see will one day pass away. What seems permanent today will not last forever. This realization can feel unsettling, especially when we have built our sense of security on things that are subject to change.

But in the midst of this truth comes a powerful assurance—God’s salvation is eternal.

While everything else fades, God’s saving grace remains. His righteousness does not diminish. It does not weaken over time. It stands firm, unchanging, and everlasting.

This means that our hope is not tied to what is temporary, but to what is eternal. When we place our trust in God, we are anchoring our lives in something that will never fail.

In uncertain times, this truth brings peace. When everything around us feels unstable, we can stand firm knowing that God’s promises are secure. His salvation is not affected by circumstances, time, or human limitations.

So today, lift your eyes beyond what you see. Look beyond the temporary and fix your heart on what is eternal. God’s righteousness will never fade, and His salvation will never end.

Lord God, thank You for reminding me that while everything in this world may change, Your salvation is eternal. Help me not to place my trust in temporary things, but to anchor my life in You.

Teach me to lift my eyes above what I see and to focus on what truly matters. Strengthen my faith in Your unchanging righteousness and Your everlasting promises.
