SCRIPTURE: “Then Jesus said to His disciples, ‘If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me’” (Matthew 16:24, NKJV).
MESSAGE: When we decide to follow in Jesus’ footsteps, the world will cast disapproval and persecutions our way—we can consider those the cross that Jesus was referring to. To truly tune in to what God wants to say to us, we must stop focusing solely on ourselves, and redirect our attention to Him.
