Catholic Daily Devotional 4th February 2022 Message
No matter our age, stage in life or vocation in the Church, it can occasionally be a challenge to trust God, let alone admit his inerrancy. Our head knows that he is flawless based on theological principles, but our heart can make us second-guess this reality when difficulties arise. To grow in faith, we have to experience examples of how his divine plan comes to fruition.
During my last semester of college, I slipped on ice while jogging and severely broke my right leg. My lengthy recovery sent me on a period of soul-searching, changing the trajectory of my journey with the Lord. Long story short, I ended up teaching in a Catholic school where I met my wife. A decade and a half and five children later, I daily witness the inerrancy of where God leads us when we trust in his divine will.
Lord Jesus, keep us open to where you are leading us.
