Bible Verse: And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Ephesians 6:4

Inspirational Message: Raising and training children in the “fear and admonition of the Lord” must be done with gentleness, love, and patience. We must discipline our children when they stray for their own good, but we should never mistreat them and “provoke them to wrath. ” And the lack of godly training in their youth could itself be a cause of their wrath being kindled against us later in life.

Prayer For Today
O Lord, you have given many of us children to care for and train in your ways. This is our sacred duty, and we must not take it lightly. We cannot hand our children over to ungodly teachers and teachings. And we cannot expect them to listen to our talk but ignore our walk. Teach us, O Father, to be the fathers and mothers you would have us to be.
