O Lord, we know that in repenting and turning to you in true faith for forgiveness of our sins, we also naturally turn from sinful grudges against others. We cannot hold the attitude of a penniless, helpless beggar before you and the attitude of a holier-than-thou attitude towards others together. Thus, in the end, those whom you forgive will have forgiven all others. Teach us to let go of grudges now instead of waiting for days, months, or years.
