Today’s Bible Verse: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Hebrews 10:25
Inspiration
While we can have fellowship with God and with other Christians at other places than at church, God has established churches for our edification and growth in godliness. He commands us not to forsake to attend them in favor of merely watching preachers on TV or hearing no preaching of the Word at all.
Today’s Prayer
Give me, O Lord, a strong desire to fellowship with your people and learn from your Word at a local Church that I can regularly attend. Help me to find the time and resources to attend it. Help me to consistently attend unless there be a valid reason why I’m unable to for a particular day. I love your people, O Lord, and desire a regular “church home. ”
