Daily Fountain Devotional 11 July 2026 TOPIC: THE HEIR TO COME WITH GLORY
SCRIPTURE READING: Micah 1:8-16
TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL MESSAGE
It is obvious from the passage we read yesterday that the LORD will come down from His holy place, and match upon the high places of the earth, and the valleys shall give way before Him. This prophecy became clearer in verses 12 & 13 of our text that: “The inhabitants of Maroth waited carefully for good: but it was evil that came unto the gate of Jerusalem… for the transgression of Israel were found.”
Disobedience to God’s word makes Him stay far away from sinners. An individual, a family or any nation that is found in sins falls short of the glory of God (Rom. 3:23). But for God so loved the world that He wouldn’t want anyone to perish. This is why He made provision for redemption of sinners by offering His only son Jesus Christ as the perfect saviour (John 3:16-17).
Jesus is the promised heir to come with the glory of salvation. However, God expects that every sinner come to repentance to receive forgiveness and be made joint heirs of God through Jesus Christ so as to have eternal glory of the kingdom of God. Decide to give Christ a chance in your life today and you will be a partaker of God’s glory.
PRAYER FOR TODAY: Dear LORD, I surrender my life to you today. Make me a joint heir together with Jesus in your eternal kingdom. Amen!
