MESSAGE: Our Focal Scripture makes mention of people who saw the lame man walking and praising God. They recognized him as he that sat for alms at the beautiful gate. They saw him in his low estate, and they were there to see him in his new season. They saw him in pain and they were also there to see him in gain. They saw when he begged, and they also watched him as his story changed for good. Those that witnessed his tears later saw his joy.
Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: those who saw you in tears will also see you in joy. Those who saw your pain will see your gain. Those who saw you in your distress will attend your mega celebrations. Those who witnessed your rejection shall also be there to see that your doors and gates are open. Those who saw you rejected and dejected will also be there to see you accepted into high places. Those who heard your bad news will be there to hear your good news.
The people who saw the lame man walking and praising God were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him. His miracle was a wonder to those who saw him. Hear me as I hear the Lord: your miracle will be a wonder to those around you. People will be amazed when they see the hand of God at work in your life. People will wonder how your status changed for good unexpectedly. People will wonder how you made it even when they didn’t see any hope in sight for you.
The lame man was still within the precincts of the temple when he got his miracle. So within the same place where men saw him sit and beg, they also saw him rise to his feet. Get set: within the same environment where you have been previously mocked, you will be celebrated. In the same places where men saw you suffer, they will see you enjoy. In the places where people laughed at you, men will gather to laugh with you.
Your predicament is not final. Your negative situation is not eternal. The Lord will turn things around, and those who saw your pain will see your gain.
Zephaniah 3:19 says: “Behold, at that time I will undo all that afflict thee: and I will save her that halteth, and gather her that was driven out; and I will get them praise and fame in every land where they have been put to shame.”
DECLARATION: Those who saw my pain will see my gain, in Jesus’ name!
