TEXT: “But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.”
John 4 :23.

The heart is the place where we worship God. God is a spirit being, it is in our heart that you meet with Him in fellowship. The Father is seeking for worshipper, in order words, some people gather to worship but not with their heart, only their lips. God desires true worshippers.
“A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.” Ezekiel 36 :26.
Our heart is the place of communion with God. No wonder in Psalms 51 :10; David said, “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”
Because David knows that the heart is where God will commune, fellowship with Him and if the heart is not clean, God will not relate with him there and that is why David said in Psalms 24 :3 – 4; “Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.”
Jesus said behold I stand at the door and knock, if you open, God will dine with you. The place of fellowship even when we come to the house of God is our heart that meets with cod, that is why the sweet fellowship and communion that we have with the Holy Spirit is in our heart. Romans 8 :16; says the spirit beareth witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, let me serve you with my whole heart..
