Alive for a Reason

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE:Â Genesis 21-24
TEXT: “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” Genesis 1 :28.
There is a reason why you were created and still alive, so be purpose driven to achieve that purpose. Stop living life anyhow, if you are not needed you wouldn’t be here. Every kingdom child is a destiny child to fulfill kingdom purpose in the place of his assignment. You are not an accident, coincidence or an incident, you are a deliberate creature of the Almighty God created in His image and after His likeness to exercise dominion on earth. And that dominion is revealed through your purpose.
Speaking of Jesus, scripture declares, “For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.” 1 John 3 :8. And of John the Baptist, it declares, “As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.” Mark 1 :2 – 3.
When you understand purpose, your life begins to have meaning because there is a great tendency to press and drive toward it because purpose fires up passion.
When Moses understood purpose scripture says, he chose to rather suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season. Heb. 11 :25.; John the Baptist stayed in the wilderness of Judea preaching the gospel of repentance because of purpose. Matt. 3 :2 – 4; The three and the half years of Jesus’ ministry was all about his purpose. John 9:4. No wonder he fulfilled purpose in that space of time.
Child of God, there is a reason for your living, discover it and fulfill it.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I pray, I arise to fulfill purpose.
