Topic: Evidences of A New Life In Christ
Opening Prayer: As I read your word O Lord, grant me an insight and grace to do your will in Jesus name.
Scripture: Acts 9: 19b-31
Question(s) for Reflection
• What does the passage teach about God the Father, God the Son or God the Holy Spirit?
• What is God revealing to me in this passage?
We can learn some key lessons from Saul here:
- Vs.19b, 26-28: He stayed with believers and so we must associate with, and never neglecting the fellowship of believers (Hebrews 10:25, 1 Corinthians 15:33).

Vs.20, 28-29: “He immediately began preaching about Jesus…” We too must not shy away from the divine mandate of sharing the good news with others so that they also may be saved.
We should do this with all seriousness. We need not wait until we know the bible inside out or go to Bible College. Like the man born blind whom Jesus healed, start immediately by sharing your testimony (No theological argument, ‘I was blind but now I see’ – John 9:25).
- Vs.21-22: All who heard him were amazed. His new way of life was evident to his neighbours. We should not hide our new identity in Christ but live out the life of Christ and influence others for the kingdom (Matthew 5:16).

Vs.23-25, 29b-30: He faced opposition. Living the Christ-like life will surely elicit opposition and persecution, but God delivers us from them all (Psalm 34:18-19, 2 Timothy 3:12). What other lesson is in vs 26-27?
