Redirect the Trap

TEXT: “The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken. The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.” – Psalms 9 :15 – 16.
Omega Fire Devotional 14 September 2021 Rhema for Living Message:
Child of God, there are persons who specialize in setting up traps for others especially those who are threats to their schemes and plots of evil. Truly, you may not be able to stop them from setting up the traps, but you can redirect the trap to catch them. Scripture says in Proverbs 26 :27; “Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him.” So any trap set for you, you have a divine mandate to command it to catch it’s owner.
What then is a trap? A trap is a clever plan designed to trick somebody either by capturing them or by making them to do or say something that they do not mean to do or say so that such things can be used against them in the course of destiny. It is one most powerful strategy of the devil in bringing down the children of God. Most mishap that befalls people are products of traps. That is why you must be extremely sensitive by the Spirit of God not to be a victim of trap just as our Lord and master Jesus escaped.
While on earth, Jesus was never a victim of traps. No matter how the Pharisees, Sadducees, Scribes etc. set traps for him to use his words against him, they ended up disappointed because of his amazing wisdom. There was a scenario in Luke chapter 20 :19 – 26; in which they said to him, “is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or no? But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why tempt ye me? Shew me a penny. Whose image and superscription hath it?
They answered and said, Caesar’s. And he said unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar’s, and unto God the things which be God’s.” And they marveled at his answer and held their peace. They could not take hold of his words.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! Every trap set for me, as I begin to pray, I redirect the trap to catch its owner.
