Don’t Settle for Less

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Daniel 7-8
TEXT: “And the children of Joseph spake unto Joshua, saying, Why hast thou given me but one lot and one portion to inherit, seeing I am a great people, forasmuch as the LORD hath blessed me hitherto?” – Joshua 17 :14.

God has put you in charge on the earth, why do you settle for less? To settle for less is to be a misfit in the kingdom. It is to be dominated rather than being in dominion. Psalms 24 :1; says, “The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.” And God has given the earth to the sons of men. Psa. 115 :16.
Think big; let your mind be broad to accommodate what God has kept in store for you. “Prov 23 :7.
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he…” Prov. 23 :7.
Let your thoughts be in line with the word of God. The children of Joseph in our text refused to have one lot and one portion for an inheritance they knew the vastness of God’s inheritance for them and also knew they were a great tribe, and they did not close their mouth. They went to God’s representative in their midst, demanded for their inheritance and they were not denied.
You have settled down with that disadvantaged situation that is why it has tarred this long. Your blessings have been released, refuse to settle for less. Whatever God has apportioned for His children has been released at Redemption, we only grow into them.
The Bible says, “…the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the Father.” Gal. 4 :1 – 2. Whoever oe whatever is occupying your portion, as you place demand, I see them out by fire.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I refuse to settle for less, I enter my portion in life, in Jesus name.
