Summary:
Real success means accomplishing God’s will for our lives. If we want to succeed, we must be willing to walk the same path that Jesus walked and take on the role of a servant. We only grow and mature as Christians when we learn to serve God by serving the people around us.

Notes:
1. Believers are to serve others. The Scriptures are filled with plenty of examples of this. Even
Jesus Christ came to serve, not to be served.

1. When we think like Christ, we put others’ concerns first. To be servants, we must concern
   ourselves with others’ interests, not just our own.

2. We must treat each other right. God closely examines the motives behind our service. If our
   motive is to be praised by others, our service is hypocritical.

3. We must be mindful of who we serve. The spirit of mammon opposes God. God wants us to
   rule and reign in life, but this can’t happen if we choose the world’s path to greatness.

4. We create problems for ourselves when we operate in selfishness. We must stay humble
