God of Great Possibilities (2)

TEXT: “For thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts “. 2 Kings 3 :17

The problem with most believers is that they shift their focus from their needs which God promised to meet to how God would meet them.
They try to figure out the supernatural through natural courses hence they miss it forgetting that God is not limited by space, time, nature or whatever. He is the almighty who can do all things.
In the scenario of our anchor text, the need of the kings that came to Elisha was water. The process of how the water would fill the valley should not be their concern it is that of God.
And God spelt out through Elisha that they will not see all the natural signs and means of water filling the valley, yet the valley would be filled with water for them and all their interest to drink.
What a God of great possibilities!
The how to bring his promises to pass in your life should not be your focus but that He would bring it to pass as He promised and hold on to His word.
Medically, there may be no fallopian tube, but spiritually you have Philippian tube which says in Philippians 4 :19; “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
The end product which is your desire should be your expectation and your focus should be on God who has promised to meet your need.
When He told Abraham and Sarah in Genesis 18:10; that He would certainly return unto them according to the time of life and Sarah would have a son, Sarah laughed because to them, age was not on their side.
But in Genesis 21, God brought His promise to past and she truly laughed with her Isaac in her hands.
Child of God, your God is a God of great possibilities. What He promised, He will bring to pass.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray now, I trust’ You Lord, to bring to pass all your promises in my life.
