The Power of Praise(2)

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Psalm 22, 24
TEXT: Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? – Exodus 15 :11.
God is fearful in praises, doing wonders. Sometime ago, the Restoration Apostle, (Prof. Johnson Suleman) preached a message title, “What To Do When You Don’t Know What To Do”.
The counsel was to switch on to praise and handover the battle to God.
You have come to the end of yourself, handover the baton to God as in s relay race, tap the Lord into the ring as in a team wrestling with your praise and you will see that in no space of time, your oppositions shalt give way.
In the prison, Paul and Silas engaged the force of praise. They were already limited because they were chained and confined in a prison with doors. But hear me, until your praise is stopped, your life has not been stopped. If you can sti praise God, you can still rise up. When these two men switched to high praises, in the frequency that moves God into fearful action in their situation, they gave sacrificial praise, they were not ashamed that they will be mocked, they praised aloud.
The Bible says, “And the prisoners heard them”. Little wonder, there was a great earthquake which shook the foundation of the prison and everyone’s bands were loosed. The praise of the both of them liberated every other prisoner held bound.
If you can praise God always, not only will you see God’s fearful acts but others would because of you.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray now, I receive fresh grace to always praise you, in Jesus name.
