A Great Calm For A Great Stor

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: 1 John 1-3

TEXT: He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still. Psalms 107 :29.

The oppositions against your destiny, do not just give up easily. No! They advance in strategy and capacity to get at you, that is why you are to advance much more to destroy them.

The level of calmness one displays in any circumstance of life is based on the knowledge of the truth he has inside. You were born into the victory of Christ Jesus by redemption and it is on that platform that you stand and declare your victory.

But when you lack knowledge, the devil capitalizes on your ignorance and overpowers you. God says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” (Hosea 4 :6).

Hence He says to have your lions girt about with truth (Ephesians 6 :14).

The Bible says, “If thou faint in the day of adversity thy strength is small” (Prov. 24 :10) and knowledge is what determines your strength.

If therefore, you are fainting in any situation of life, it means you lack sufficient knowledge of the truth; so go for more light. When the Word of God grows mightily in you, it would prevail (Acts 19 :20). It would give you an overwhelming peace and confidence which stills every great storm.
I pray for you that every storm of life would bow to you, in Jesus Name.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, the passion for the knowledge of the truth, awake in me. I must be victorious over storms of life, in Jesus name.
