Be At Peace With God

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE: Philemon 1

TEXT: Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. Isaiah 26 :3.

Child of God, whatever it takes to keep your peace with God is worth your attention.
Refuse to allow anything jeopardize your being at peace with your Maker. No matter what your pursuit is in life, if it tampers with your peace with God, you are of all men, most miserable because you would end up losing all.

When you are at peace with God, it regulates your life, and gives you a divine flow from the throne; God works in your favour and His presence is guaranteed. This gives you uncommon confidence and boldness to walk in dominion. You are not moved or swayed by what easily moves others because your heart is fixed on God and not on the unstable circumstances.

When you receive Christ, you received the Prince of Peace who gives you the peace that passeth all human understanding. And as you grow in Him and trust Him absolutely, He gives you perfect peace. Job 22 :21; gives the prescription for being at peace with God. It says, “Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.”

The anchored word in this text is ‘Acquaint’ which passes for being intimate with God. So you cannot be at peace with God without having an acquaintance with Him, He reveals Himself to you, He makes His ways known unto you and you walk in His path because you are in tune with Him. But when you do not fellowship with God, in prayers, His word and with the Holy Spirit, you are disconnected from Him and cannot walk in His path nor please Him.

I pray for you that nothing would tamper with your being at peace with God. Whatever it takes to stay connected with your Maker and be at peace with Him, you will maximize them.

My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I receive grace to always be at peace with You.
