READ: Power of Sanctification by Pastor David Ibiyeomie

Sanctification is a process by which are Christian believer is made holy through the help of the Holy Spirit. It is the importation of divine grace whereby we possess the nature of God and are made holy to live a pure life. It is the core of Christianity; the master key to fulfillment in life. It is sanctification that enhances beauty, and beauty attracts glorification.

Power of Sanctification – Pastor David Ibiyeomie

Psalms 66:18 (KJV) If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:

Sanctification gives you victory over sin and guarantees answers to prayers; it is the bridge between your prayers and the answers. Saying NO to sin is simply a process of grace by which a believer is separated from sin, becomes dedicated to God’s righteousness and set apart for a sacred purpose.

2 Corinthians 6:17 (KJV) Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

Sanctification strengthens your intimacy with God.

Isaiah 59:1-2 (KJV) Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

Clean up from those things that will easily beset you.

Hebrews 12:1 (KJV) Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

For God to perform wonder, you must sanctify yourself.

2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Nothing hinders God’s blessings like sin. It takes sanctification to enjoy beauty and the blessings God has in stock for us.

There are two things involved in sanctification: Man’s Part and God’s part

You must separate yourself from sin and dedicate yourself to God. This is very important if you are on God’s own side.

2 Timothy 2:21 (KJV) If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master’s use, and prepared unto every good work.

Until you purge yourself, you cannot be sanctified. Asking God for blessing when you are not sanctified is like pouring water into a basket. In sanctification, you yield yourself to obey the Lord’s instruction which helps you to live healthier, holier, happier and a productive Christian life.

1 Thessalonians 4:7 (KJV) For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.

Accepting the responsibility to live a holy life secures your destiny. God’s part is ever ready and settled to help us. God will do His part when you do your part; He will never fail.
