MFM Daily Devotional 31st October 2020 Outline

God is putting a new weapon in your hand through today’s devotional. The enemy can be dealt with. Your stubborn pursuers can be overpowered. This can be done by learning how to make use of prayer points that confuse demonic agents. Whatever the efforts of the enemy looks like, there are payer points that will earn you victory.

This is illustrated in the story of one Brother Lucky. Brother Lucky knew the Bible. But, he was not very fervent. One day, he was about to go to work and he prayed the usual three-minute prayer. The Holy Spirit told him to continue and he did. After a few minutes, he decided to stop and go to work. At the bus stop, he boarded a bus; and he did not know what happened until he found himself in a bush, naked! There were other people with him. Some were dead and many human parts were all over the ground.

An old man came out of a hut and was pointing at him, telling the other people that he (Brother Lucky) was useless and that he should be taken out of the place. That was when Brother Lucky became conscious of what he had been through and what was going on. He had been kidnapped but was unusable to his kidnappers. They later on dropped him by the roadside and he found his way back to Lagos, the former capital of Nigeria.

To confuse the enemy, you must take up the battle in the name of the Lord, refuse the lies of the enemy and assert the supremacy of the power of the most high. God will surely vindicate you. Let God be true and every man a liar.

Motivational Quote
The God of glory shall visit you afresh and cause you to bounce back to the shame of the devil.

Prophetic Word
Every strange voices, shall be silenced.

HYMN
I’ll cherish the old rugged cross

On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross,
The emblem of suffering and shame;
And I love that old cross where the dearest and best
For a world of lost sinners was slain.

Refrain:
So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross,
Till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged cross,
And exchange it some day for a crown.

O that old rugged cross, so despised by the world,
Has a wondrous attraction for me;
For the dear Lamb of God left His glory above
To bear it to dark Calvary.

In that old rugged cross, stained with blood so divine,
A wondrous beauty I see,
For ’twas on that old cross Jesus suffered and died,
To pardon and sanctify me.

To the old rugged cross I will ever be true;
Its shame and reproach gladly bear;
Then He’ll call me some day to my home far away,
Where His glory forever I’ll share.
