Morning Prayer for Today — Friday, 7 August 2026 | Commit Your Plans: A Morning Prayer of Trust and Divine Establishment
Good morning, beloved! Today, God is teaching us the power of surrender in our planning. Instead of striving to make our own plans succeed through worry and control, we are invited to commit everything we do to the Lord, trusting Him to establish it. This morning, let’s hand over our plans, our goals, and our to-do lists to God, and watch Him bring order and success to them.
Powerful Morning Prayer
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for this new day and for the invitation to commit my plans to You. Lord, Your word says that if I commit to You whatever I do, my plans will succeed. This morning, I lay every plan, project, and goal before You.
Father, I release my need to control every outcome. I commit my work, my finances, my relationships, and my decisions into Your hands. Establish what is according to Your will, and redirect anything that is not.
Lord, remove anxiety and striving from my planning. Let me approach today’s tasks with peace, knowing that success does not depend on my own strength, but on Your establishment and blessing.
Father, give me wisdom as I plan today. Let my thoughts align with Your purposes, so that what I commit to You is already in agreement with Your will. Help me to plan with faith, not fear.
Lord, where my plans need adjustment, correct me gently. Where they align with Your purpose, prosper them abundantly. I trust that when I commit my ways to You, You will not let me fail.
I bind every spirit of anxiety, control, and striving in the name of Jesus. I loose the spirit of trust, wisdom, and divine establishment over my plans today.
Thank You, Father, for taking what I commit to You and making it succeed. I trust You with my plans today, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Proverbs 16:3 — “Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”
This verse invites us into a partnership with God — one where we release control and trust Him with our plans. When we commit our ways to the Lord, He takes responsibility for establishing them, bringing order and success where we could not achieve it on our own. This morning, hand over your plans and trust His hand to guide them.
