Good morning, beloved! Today, we rest in one of the most beloved and comforting truths in all of Scripture — the Lord is our Shepherd, and because of that, we shall not want. He leads us to green pastures and still waters, providing rest, provision, and peace. Whatever pace life has forced you into, this morning invites you to slow down and follow the Shepherd who knows exactly what you need.
Powerful Morning Prayer
Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for this new day and for being my Shepherd. Lord, Your word declares that I shall not want, for You make me lie down in green pastures and lead me beside still waters. This morning, I trust You to lead me and provide for every need.
Father, calm every anxious thought about lack or insufficiency. As my Shepherd, You know exactly what I need before I even ask, and You are faithful to provide it. I release striving and anxiety, and I receive Your provision and peace instead.
Lord, lead me today into green pastures — places of nourishment, growth, and rest. Don’t let me wander into barren places through my own choices or distractions. Guide my steps, my decisions, and my priorities according to Your perfect will.
Father, lead me also beside still waters. In the busyness of this day, give me moments of stillness where I can hear Your voice and be refreshed. Quiet every noise that competes for my peace, and restore my soul.
Lord, thank You for being a Shepherd who is present, attentive, and gentle. I don’t have to fend for myself, because You are watching over me, guiding me, and providing for me every step of the way.
I bind every spirit of anxiety, lack, and restlessness in the name of Jesus. I loose the spirit of provision, peace, and divine guidance over my life today.
Thank You, Father, for being my Shepherd. I trust You to lead me and provide for me today, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.

Psalm 23:1-2 — “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.”
