TOPIC: Confidence-Building Scriptures
You have been my hope…my confidence since my youth. From birth I have relied on you.’ – Psalm 71:5-6 NIV
Here are some confidence-building Scriptures you should read, memorise, pray, and stand on each day:
1) ‘His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness’ (2 Peter 1:3 NIV).
2) ‘This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us – whatever we ask – we know that we have what we asked of him’ (1 John 5:14-15 NIV).
3) ‘The eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him’ (2 Chronicles 16:9 NIV).
4) ‘Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit’ (Jeremiah 17:7-8 NIV).
